However, because of the snug fit (not a size problem, just the design) it is difficult to wear a sock of any kind and the shoes really tend to foster smelly feet. I ended up buying a sheer hosiery socklet to wear with them. I have them in the off-white, and I think they are super cute in this color. They give enough support for a "normal" amount of standing or walking, I haven't been out sight seeing all day in them or anything, but they may even stand up to that. I'm really pleased with these shoes.
