We've only had these about a week. My 8 year old son has a unilateral club foot. He just got a UCBL insert and Skechers was one of the brands the orthotics company recommended. Having a lower price than some of the other brands I went with them. These definitely provide plenty of room for his shoe insert. I don't know how they would work with an AFO but the list of brands was for an assortment of orthotics. I guess my son has little feet for his age. Even though his clubfoot is smaller than the other one, the normal foot is a bit loose in this shoe but the one for the clubfoot fits just right because of the UCBL. I got a M width the length is right but there is a lot of space on the sides of his good foot. I am keeping these for later but I am getting a new pair 1/2 size smaller.
